What to Bring...
Items to
bring on your multi-day raft camping trip
Shorts or bathing suits- 2-3 pairs of quick dry nylon
or similar material Shorts for hiking and around camp Lightweight long
pants and shirt (to protect from the sun) Warm pants - 2 pairs (one for the
river and one pair for camp) capilene or similar recommended.* Tee
shirts-2 or 3 Long sleeve capilene or polar fleece (if it is cold) for
around camp.* Jacket for chilly evenings and mornings Paddling gear or
a good rain suit** River sandals-make sure they are comfortable before your
trip Wetsuit booties (if it is cold) Sneakers or lightweight boots for
hiking and around camp. Brimmed hat or cap (to keep the sun off your
nose) Stocking hat and gloves (early season trips) Socks- 1or 2
pairs Toiletries-toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, lipbalm, sunscreen,
bio-degradeable soap and shampoo Towel Sunglasses with Chums or
similar retaining strap (essential if you wear prescription glasses)
SUNSCREEN! Flashlight or Small Headlamp Your Best Jokes
*please bring insulating layers other
than cotton, cotton does not keep you warm when it gets wet! ** Good
rain gear is essential! If you do not have it let us know before the trip and
we can provide it.
