Salmon River Sampler 2 Day Raft Trips

for those with limited time

We offer our 2 day Salmon River Sampler which is a great trip if you want a quick getaway or an introduction to multi day rafting. For our 2 day trip we ask that you meet us the evening prior to departure to pick up your river gear and for a quick orientation. The morning of the trip we will depart from our office in Riggins and drive the 26 mile Forest Service access road to its end at the start of the Gospel Hump and Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Areas. We will raft 40 miles of class II-IV drop and pool whitewater in the course of the trip and you will experience beautiful scenery, amazing white sandy beaches and one of the river's best menus. When you arrive at camp for the evening you will find your tent and personal gear waiting, appetizers on the table and dinner cooking. We supply horse shoes, bocce balls and other fun beach games for your time in camp. If the night is clear, we encourage you to sleep outside your tent on the beach under the unbelievable Idaho night time sky. Wake up in the morning to the smell of cowboy coffee and a hearty breakfast cooking, after breakfast and breaking camp you will begin day 2 of your trip which includes the best rapids on the Salmon River. At the end of the second day you will return to the Exodus office relaxed, cool and completely hooked on multi day rafting.

LODGE AT RIGGINS HOT SPRING TRIP
We also offer our 2 day lodge stay option at the Lodge at Riggins Hot Springs. The 2 day raft and lodge option is perfect for groups of 10 or more that do not want to spend the night on the beach. You can also include group members that do not want to join the raft trip at the Lodge at Riggins Hot Springs for dinner, lodging and breakfast. The Lodge at Riggins Hot Springs offers exclusive occupancy and an intimate setting for up to 30 people, full conference facilities, a pool room, deluxe private rooms, an artesian fed hot spring pool and hot tub, lawn games, extensive grounds to explore, hiking trails, library and a common area with stereo, television, phone and internet access. Our 2 day raft and lodge stay option is a great trip for couples, wedding parties, family reunions and corporate groups. The trip runs the same as the raft and camp option except when you stop for the evening you will have arrived at the lodge where appetizers, cold drinks and your luggage is waiting for you.

Reservation Information

All of our overnight trips include, great guides, high quality rafting and camping gear (beach option) including: roomy tents, cushy sleeping pads, freshly laundered sleeping bags, pillows and cotton liner sheets. We also provide wetsuits, and splash gear on early or late season trips. We have different boat options depending on your interest; you can choose between an oar boat, paddle raft and a 1 or 2 person inflatable kayak. Smallmouth Bass are abundant and we can provide spinning rods with prior notice, you'll need an Idaho fishing license (available in Riggins) as well as an assortment of lures. We provide all meals beginning with lunch on the first day and ending with lunch on the second day. We also carry plenty of snacks and cold drinks that are easily accessible on the rafts during the day. We provide plenty of fresh and bottled water as well as drink mixes, soda, beer and wine in camp. We reserve the right to alter our put-in and take-outs according to high or low water flow throughout the summer.
